LUNCH

Our community takes shape around the lunch table. From September through July, lunch is held for I Tatti Appointees every weekday, with aperitifs at 13:00 followed by lunch at 13:15.

Please note:

- reservations are always required, and must be made by 10:15;

- current appointees can reserve online. Former appointees can make reservations by calling Patrizia Carella at the front desk or by sending an email to desk@itatti.it; New Fellows appreciate having some time for bonding at the beginning of the academic year. After the second full week of September, Former Fellows are most welcome at the lunch table;

- current I Tatti Appointees are welcome to bring a guest to lunch any day except Thursday, space permitting;

- lunches are reserved for current appointees only on Thursdays (September through June);

- be sure to cancel your reservation if you cannot come to lunch;
- if you need to change the date of your online reservation, be sure to edit the existing date. If you attempt to insert the same date twice you will get an error message.

MINIBUS SERVICE

An early morning minibus service is available Tuesday through Friday to bring current Appointees from downtown in Florence to I Tatti. Former Appointees can use this service is space is available by contacting Patrizia Carella at the front desk. The times and collection points are:

Morning Minibus from VIT to Firenze

• 8:20 am - departure from the Chapel terrace at I Tatti, passing by San Martino (if someone has registered to go into town)

Morning Minibus from Firenze to VIT

• 8:45 am - Archivio di Stato

• 8:50 am - Ponte Vecchio (Piazza di S. Maria Soprarno)

• 8:55 am - Biblioteca Nazionale

• 9:00 am - Santa Croce (via De’ Benci side)

• 9:05 am - Kunsthistorisches Institut

• 9:15 am - Sette Santi (at the Agip gas station on Viale dei Mille)

A lunchtime minibus service is available Monday through Friday to bring current and former Appointees from downtown in Florence to I Tatti for lunch. The times and collection points are:

Noon Minibus from Firenze to VIT

• 12.35 pm - Kunsthistorisches Institut

• 12.40 pm - Archivio di Stato

• 12.45 pm - Biblioteca Nazionale

Afternoon Minibus from VIT to Firenze

• 2.30 pm - I Tatti to Kunst-Archivio-Biblioteca
